概要
エポメッド株式会社は新規医薬品開発を行う創薬ベンチャーです。当社では、入交生命工学株式会社との連携のもと、新薬開発分野で見出された新規の環状ペプチドおよび新規の低分子化合物によるガンおよびその他の疾病の治療薬の開発に取り組み、いち早く臨床応用を達成し、研究成果を社会へ還元することを目的としています。
事業内容
創薬ベンチャーとして、エリスロポエチン受容体を阻害する臨床上有効なペプチドおよび低分子化合物を特定します。それに続き、前臨床・臨床試験を実施し、ヒトにおいての効果の確認（Proof of Concept）まで当社で実施していきます。臨床第一相試験の完了を受けて製薬会社へライセンスアウトを行い、アップフロント、マイルストーン、ロイヤルティを獲得します。臨床第二相試験以降の臨床研究は製薬会社に任せる方向で考えています。
Overview
As a biotech venture company focused in developing new drugs, Epo-med aims to bring novel cyclic peptide and new small molecule which holds potential to treat cancer and other diseases to the patients as soon as possible and hope to contribute through our research to making healthier society. This will be done in part through collaboration with Irimajiri Therapeutics, Inc.
Business
We are specifying peptide and compounds that effectively inhibits erythropoietin receptor and plan to conduct non-clinical and clinical studies until POC in human can be demonstrated. We intend to license the rights to partners willing to take the drug beyond Phase II clinical study in exchange receiving upfront, milestones and royalty payments.
